During my recent journey back to the UK from Switzerland, I had the opportunity to stay at Jungbrunnen, an intimate retreat nestled in a quiet hamlet. The property boasts lovely grounds, ideal for a peaceful escape, and is conveniently located near the A5 for easy access. The hosts, Erich and Marie, provided a warm welcome and were accommodating throughout our stay, even inviting my husband and our dog to walk with their pets. The room was comfortable, featuring parquet floors and a cozy sitting area, a much-appreciated comfort after a long drive. We opted for an evening meal prepared by Erich, which was reasonably priced and paired with wine. The continental breakfast offered homemade jams, fresh eggs, and coffee—perfect for starting the day right. It’s an ideal choice for a stopover or a longer retreat in the countryside.
